I've printed out the template with the direct-toner method on a sheet of catalog paper:
And ironed it on a sheet of brass. It was not perfect, but usable:
I worked on it with a Dremel 3000 and a Dremel engraver:
It was burnished with Balistol Nerofor and polished with sandpaper (600)
And bendet it around a 40mm round wodden stick:
